I booked Ketut to guide me through a purification ceremony at Pura Mengening, followed by
visits to several temples. From the very beginning, he was warm, patient and incredibly
knowledgeable about Balinese culture, traditions and spirituality.
The purification ceremony at Pura Mengening was a very special and meaningful experience for me.
Ketut took the time to explain what was happening, what each part of the ceremony meant and how
I should participate. I never felt rushed or uncomfortable, and I always felt that I was in

What really stood out was that Ketut wasn't simply taking me from one tourist attraction to
another. He shared his knowledge of Bali and its traditions and answered all of my many

"Beautiful experience with Ketut on the 19th/8/26. He took
time to explain the disposition of the Mengening temple. Accompanied and tell me how and which
god to pray. And while I was doing the purification, took pictures of me. Afterwards we went to
the Luwak coffee plantation where I had the best tasting of different teas and coffees as well
as the famous Cat Poo Chino ♡ this was not planned but I was happy to go there as it was onnmy
bucket list. Also I felt bad not having more cash to spend in the Coffee boutique and to tip.
